Poem -

AIMEE O'ROURKE

Somebody has to be remembered it's true
A lady named Aimee dressed in blue
For Aimee was a nurse worked in Kent
Her time on this earth unfortunately spent

Died whilst on duty trying to save others
Please pay your respects my sisters and brothers
The virus took poor nurse Aimee away
Thought about fondly with every passing day

Nurse Aimee our nation is grateful beyond compare
She was full of compassion and full of care
A nurse is all Aimee ever wanted to be
Now joining God in heaven I'm sure you agree
