Al Khul
Al~Khul
"Spirit possessing body"
Describes it quite well don't you think?
For He hath possessed me
And I become His.
Into the lifes blood
Into the seething sea
Of raging thoughts
Where there remains the shipwreck
Of my lifes endeavours.
Al~Khul flows into my veins
Warms my frozen heart
Frees my silent tongue
And soothes my tortured Soul.
We become one entity.
Possessed by His viscous fluidity
Charmed by His warmth and inclusivity
He has consumed me.
Become My shelter from the storm
Verboten liquid lover
Who rushes through my body
Consuming Me in His rush to possess Me.

From everything that I've read, the term βAl-khulβ is said to refer to alcohol". It apparently comes from the Arabic term which means 'BODY-EATING SPIRIT', which is completely understandable.
I've been quite fortunate having never experienced alcoholism, despite my PTSD. My experiences while enlisted in the US Marine Corps were hardly pleasant.
