ALBA'S MATURING
Today I am: 'Loyal' Scottish man;
Alex, 'First Minister', leads us free...
favouring Independence - we can;
full independence we may see!
These days, politics work to serve;
the honest love of our fine Land -
winning for us, what we deserve;
Freeborn Scotland, as we Stand!
'Loyalty's Duty' to steer and guide,
leading all safely there, and aloft;
to honourable elements, we stride,
going well: winning 'hard 'n' soft'!
Past passed, and there must stay;
future ahead - approaching 'now';
more than that, we just can't say;
Into 'Beyond-Country' shall show!
'Fore and Aft', may perceive-review,
Referendum: all shall safely vote,Â
Scotland - everyone shall 'renew';
now, no 'second class tag' to tote!
Future path: will map for ourselves,
with fresh fields, 'ploughs and turns';
no more from UK's 'back shelves',
fording easily, our country's 'Burns'!
Our past travels far back in time;
but presently, in 'here and now';
while not ignoring 'note and rhyme',
bringing 'Brethren' safely in tow!
Penultimate step for grand Nation,
concurrence/resetting in UK's approval,Â
by our Genes - choose destination,
'UK dictation' encountered removal?!

 Scotland, 'Alba', is certainly maturing - as we feel that our fine UK seems to be! We Scots who strongly wish our Scotland to regain what she used to be - in honour, peace and dignity! This policy has been a major factor throughout the history which echos the development of our 'Free World' - we see no reason for doing otherwise as we redeem our Scotland's position in Earth's family. That very 'family' is clearly maturing also (however gradually!).
 I Pray that the vast number of fellow Scots can feel empathy with we 'at home'...and understand why the Referendum is only open to we who live  and work in Scotland!
