Albatross & Flight

Somewhere deeper, love: our faucet eyes—pleading love;
And such forever—a vault of phantoms; and more to die;
And more to give; and much to rise. I captured death—my
Fallen life; and love flood a fountain; and thought sprouted

Wings. I’m living love, forever found—but ever lost; and
Mercy cries; and liquor spills; and eyes swell with tears. I
Remember you: so broken: so partial: shielded by God—and
Haunted by death; and I was silent; and I was deaf—and

Nearly blind; and somewhere deeper, love: our faucet eyes—
Pleading joy. I wanted you: your magic: your gifts: such to
Feel the mystic; and how many times:—prose—notes—and
Preparation; and now the anger; and don’t forgive; and ever
Live; and ever cry, fly and dance; and catch the wind, a vibe,
A rhythm; and dream the saints.
