ALICE MAKES A CAKE

Alice is making a cake for me today 
Going to be interesting I have to say 
Never has she made a cake before 
How will it turn out I'm not really sure 

Sugar, flour, butter are all in a bowl 
Mix them up would be the first goal 
Study the recipe would also be a plan 
I'm staying out of the kitchen a typical man

A couple of hours the cake duly appeared 
Tasted so good not as bad as I feared 
Alice always amazes me what she can do
How she pulled this off I haven't a clue 

So thank you Alice for this wonderful cake
What a fantastic wife you will certainly make
