He's subtle and clever
Treat it like a game
He invaded the church-
And made sure you all came

Upon the flesh- wanna play?
Masquerade-

It makes it easy-
When the Devil gives chase
He has an army-
Made up of your children
They don't know-
Why it's a holiday thrill
Some o' the schoolboys-
Are pickin' out girls
To turn them out
Welcome to the Underworld
All the blood-
And blades seem fake
But how many souls-
Tonight will be taken?
Where's the moon?
And it smells like rain
Are the clouds afraid-
To let go of their pain?
A satanic covenant-
Where and when?
Let all the demons-
Get dressed like men
I heard a rumor-
There's a stranger in town
Women think he's beautiful-
Defense down
A party is thrown-
But where is our host?
Forget it- it's midnight
A champagne toast
Some man's wife-
Gave a key to the door
Another sacrifice?
We found her on the floor
Where were you last night?
It started with a kiss
Now- morning comes-
Somebody's baby is missing

halloween means so much to some and they dont know what it means to others ,like i stated in a poem of mine be careful ! halloween can bring sorrows , least the children who get abused through church? strangers dressed in the costumes can ......your little girl or boy ! two sides ,to the night ............good piece .makes me think and james this is a good piece ,protect! dont know if i got the meaning of this inthe way you meant it but it touched me tina x

I believe you got the message. It might not be so bad if there were as much emphasis on the next day- which is supposed to be a Feast for All Saints. Or if we dressed our children up in more innocent costumes. Thank you for the compliment. I'm trying.
