Poem -

All I Want For Christmas

Some kids want ponies

Some kids want bikes

All I want is to be happy one night.

Some kids ask for trains

Some kids ask for planes

All I ask for is this pain to go away.

Some kids wish for clothes

Some kids wish to see Santa that night

All I want is to die tonight.

Hi Claudia,

I wish for your pain to go away, and for your poem to find comfort in your pen and laughter in your words. Life is always transforming, and so will we, i wish for a brighter tomorrow to spark in your heart.

Hi Claudia,

And i Claudia wish for you to view the words of this Elegant lady, (Shirley), when you feel all has forsaken you or you have nowhere to turn to, her heart, (just as her words to you),remains a vile of inspiration.I too had to utilize her expertise on many occasions and to this day, continue to....Your pen shall be your best friend  if only you allow it to be...and you should..You are a brilliant young lady, with a lot to say and we, a lot, that we want to hear of you......Please dont let you down, because i know what you can accomplish, you have already proven it to me and of you i am proud........I remain strong for you......so be that for me........These are the real friends you have been seeking in life and we have been seeking you....

Always here for you .

Claudia,

When I read a piece like this- I can't comment unless I know that you're okay. If you need to talk- write back. If this is only entertainment- and your aim is to shock- then you did your job and did it well.

Hi James,
I actually wrote these poems about a year ago. While I was being hospitalized for suicide and depression and self-injury. But I am glad to say that I am now over a year without any of those things. I actually just posted 2 of these poems up for fun just thinking it'd be cool to enter it in a contest. But after I posted them people loved them, and they asked me to post more so I have been digging out in my archives of poems and posting them.

Claudia,

Nice to meet you. You scared me. I know a LOT about depression and suicidal thoughts. This is your spotlight- so this is not the place for my story. The beauty of this poem is that it could inspire songs, a book or a movie. Very few poems are able to do that. In all seriousness Ms. Gregory, you must be responsible with the power you have. I did not see this piece as entertainment- bit I tip my hat to you for its effectiveness. You made me look.

I'm amazed that you can submit something like this while you were going through self harm and depression. I'm recovering from self harm and what I found helped me the most was through writing ( and stabbing the ground a couple times with a shovel). Your poem has given me courage so that one day when I am better I will be able to submit my dark writings as well.

We are born into our lives. The great thing is we can live as many as we want while we are here.

Your poem is sad and scary. May you find peace ten times.
