All I Want For Christmas

When I was young, there was a song, you’d hear playing every year;
“All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”, the words held very dear!
But now that I am much older, there is something I had to do;
The last two words rewritten, to say “My Doggies Two”!

So I went to visit Santa Claus, and sat upon his knee;
He said, “I don’t get many parents here, what would you like from me?”!
I took out their Blessed photographs, and showed them all to him;
I said, “Santa, please bring them back to me”, as my tears began to brim!

He said, “There, there now kind sir, my saddened loving Dad”;
“I can tell by all these lovely pictures, they’re the greatest gifts you ever had”!
“I cannot bring them back to you, but I’ll give you something in their place”;
“I’ll bring two most beautiful little angels, and will put a smile upon your face”!

I woke up Christmas morning, and went running down the stairs;
To see if dear old Santa, had left my presents there!
And just like he had promised, were two angels looked just like you;
I shouted, “Santa, you’ve made me very happy, and cured me of my blues”!

                                      I did not believe
                            But that morning I found out
                                   That Santa is real
