All is red

I look into the mirror
A girl, a strange girl stares me back
Red is her nose, dark is her hair
The corner of her eyes, the point of her finger
The wrinkles on her lip, the curve of her hip
——All is red, all is red
Every breathing pore of her skin,
Inhaling, exhaling, emanating tiny particles of hormone
Lust, a virgin desiring the unknown
Funny how fire burns in those black eyes
Shame how she swings and sways in that red gown
The wind makes her colour fade, forces her to beg
She looks down on her bare feet, on the freezing toes
All is red, all is red.
