All It Takes
A few kind words are all it takes,
To sooth the pain of a heart that breaks,
A few kind words, to show you care,
Can stop the sadness, the hurt, right there.
All it takes is a small smile,
To leave happiness for a while,
A bright smile as you're walking by,
Can make a heavy heart fly.
All it takes is one warm hug,
To make the restless one feel snug,
Just one kind, loving embrace,
Can put a smile on the saddest face.
All it takes is to show you care,
To make sadness and pain easier to bear,
A few words, a hug, a simple smile,
Can be all it takes to make life worthwhile.
