Poem -

All lives do matter

I am an African American sister
who holds my head up with pride
my skin is light brown, Carmel just a little, but I have nothing to hide.

I was raised with all colors,  I played with white barbie dolls and even Ken too, what makes our colors different, they both are very smooth.

I played with Sarah, Lilli, Shetta and Squirt, it wasn't a day that went by that we didn't play or wear each other's shirt.

The color of our skin may be different, the way we think might not be the same, but all this white power and black power is all just chit chatter because All lives do Matter.

#Blacklivesmatter takes the issue head on, #AllLivesMatter is like saying the issue doesn't exist. Just want people to understand what they are saying. All lives DO matter but what's new?

Welcome to the funnel by the way :)
