All that Slithers

Thirty pieces of silver..
jangle like a rattle
snakes dance,
it's the kiss of
betrayal,
and identifies,
a traitor..
Do you chose to
answer, or say nothing
in your stance ?
What bad press we
have done to truth.
If you wish to hear
honeyed words..
ask not loaded questions..
for The Truth cannot be denied..
I must then be praised for telling
a lie..
Or say nothing in defense or
pursuance..
thirty pieces of silver..
just a nuisance and another
thorn to question honour.

(I've heard this expression when men have broke strikes..and I dont think its appropriate. )
