Poem -

All the joys I've known of spring.

Am I Pining for the stars
he said, for nothing more beautiful than your eyes
I seek, and in my quest for love configure
All the words of love to speak

If I could meet you halfway through the stars above us now

Would you fall and land within my hands and heart somehow

For all the darkness I've met with care, until this light would cast you fair

Into my sight and touch my soul, in ways that make the stars evolve

And in my angst of nights unpronounceable word,
Become the keeper
Of this bird, not to cage
But let her sing
all the joys Ive known of spring.
