Almost there

Almost there

I loved him
I truly did
However ver looking back
Even I can see that it was not love
It was pure infatuation
I wanted him so so bad that I could not see what was going on
I could not see that I was losing my way
That I was forgetting all that I believed in trying to please him when u should be living life
When I should have been happy and loving myself instead of looking for it in the wrong places
He broke me down so bad that I didn't recognize myself
He hurt me so much that my heart aches when I hear his name
I left him alone
im trying to do better
And God I believe I'm almost there
