Alone

Alone

It happened last summer,
I thought it was one of my dreams.
I guess I was mistaken,
it wasn't really what it seems.

I wanted you so badly,
just to be your friend.
I guess that won't happen,
my heart now has to mend.

My love for you was an accident,
and now I must survive.
You've never really loved me,
you were just like the other five.

Now as I sit lonely,
you're happy as can be.
But that's okay I'm happy too,
just by being me.

Dear Lynnette,

This is lovely. Short and to the point- "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all"

Dear Lynnette,

Good for you that you don't allow heartbreak to crush your spirit. so many people (not just here- everywhere) talk about saving the world with love and we find it difficult to love even those closest to us.
