~ Alternating Arabesques ~

~ Alternating Arabesques ~

As I was the apparition's dance
With alternating arabesques
The shadows raced across my ceiling

And as I watched these ghosts adorn
The sounds ofΒ Cellos and French horns
I dreamt of the day my son was born

As my heart was pulled from my chest
No sound, only heaving of my wife's breast
Went dancing through the soft quintessence

Like ballerinas holding an ever-spin
My face held onto its inherited grin
And my heart felt the beat from its essence

As I was an apparition's dance
I am now, an alternating arabesque
Happy each morning in all my life's dances...
