Morning Blush

Morning Blush

Black mountains sleep
Beneath a waking sky
Brown blank trees
Breathe a frigid sigh
The dew is white
Of seasons frost
While coffee steams
In waking cups
A splash of pink
Touches the sky
God says good morning
With colorful eyes
The light climbs higher
And the color spreads
Rippling the sky
In orange and pink threads
The brown blushes back
Bowing its head
Frost starts to bleed
Into crystalline dew
Worshiping the creator
In a day made new
