Climate Power

Climate Power

Patience’s sting—
sour and strong—
while the desire for home
grows longingly.
Yet each day, a gift
we dare not confront:
He who watches is knowing.

Heaven’s restraint,
nature untamed.
Are we the vessels of destruction?
What hubris.
What deceit.
How unfeeling the cost—
denying the Artist His glory.

Yet hope remains,
restrained by patience in love,
that none should miss
His coming.
We cannot rewrite the future;
promises writ as warning,
truth in thunder forming.

Patience is His gift.
Prolonging, we exist—
that all might reach
redemption’s call.
Heed the rise,
discern the times,
watch for the day of His coming.

RebeccaRuth 11.17.25

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”
