"AMAZEMENT" the loud, in her quiet....

The cause of so much amazement, may appear to be quite grand
As if a careful wife had stretched out her loving hand
On a nearer view, it seemed too consistent with her many faces
I had been noticing her fragrance in the strangest of places
On the wings of a gull passing by, in the hall as a stranger passed by
In the churches the candles alight, sang of her beauty inside

And I stand here gawking and feeling fortunate just to have noticed
The sky had a bird, that brought me the word, love as previously promised
She's like a liquid sun that doesn't burn, but gives only loving caresses
And smells of the oranges and yellows of her shining impressions

I have been transported in this moment of rough recognition
To the place I believed no longer existed in love's tradition
And thank God for the bird that whispered the word in my ear
Of the sacred consistency and the foundations made clear
Through the unseen angels that allowed me to see
That it was God that brought her to me
And I was his puppet providing
The loud that she needed
In her quiet......
