AMERICA AND IRAN
The world is on notice for war alert
Innocent lives will be killed and hurt
America and Iran please do not fight
A new decade has started it is not right
Who is at fault and who is to blame ?
Not really sure but I know it's a shame
In my lifetime I want to see world peace
An end to fighting to finish and cease
I just hope that a solution occurs quick
The threat of war is making me sick
War is not the answer and will never be
Life is for living that's not difficult to see

Well written and exspressed angel
I like the sound in your poem, you did a nice job with the end rhymes.

As I pulled up your poem and saw the title, “America and Iran,” I sighed heavily. I wanted to read the poem, but instead read five others. I back pedaled to your poem because, I like to hear what other writers think about America and the growing conflicts with a number of countries around the world. It appears to me, that we are gearing up for the next major war.
Since there was an obvious attack on American’s while serving overseas this week.
They made their choice to start a fight, another war.
America, is not known for sitting on the sidelines waiting for the next suicide bomber, the next act of terrorism and the next innocent life taken because of oil, tariffs and freedom. It takes a country with leadership to change policies that could negatively affect millions of innocent lives around the globe.
America and other countries are speaking up about impending new missile test and the continued threats that could harm American's serving in and out of the countries affected. Without guidance, a nuclear weapon or weapon of mass destruction could fall into the wrong hands -- and endangered civilization as we know it.
We have to keep these weapons and threats out of terrorist hands, and completely away from those who spend a considerable amount of time training their people to KILL American's.
I believe in our military and although I’m no Trump supporter, I’m hoping and praying he knows what the next step is. We have to be one step ahead of the bomb, that could come our way, right on our door step.
Thank you for sharing your poem. It gave me a lot to think about. I don't mean for my thoughts to be "biased" I am American but I'm also someone who fears what you fear, war. I think about the children, the country, the cost. For the price of one war, we could end world hunger. Creating new industries all over the world, build them in the areas where poverty is so prevalant.
Praying for both countries.
They will need more than prayer
if they keep this stuff up.
Just saying... our military is a force
to be reckoned with. And, then some.
Keiran, We can only hope for peace ✌. Love all your work. Have you ever written a poem that was mediocre? ? Love, Terry Kay
