American Hero Coming Home

American Hero Coming Home

It has been
a year

You off
in the world
serving our
country

You never kneeled

You rose
like a man
looking at
your adversaries
directly into
the eyes

You never
kissed up
to the
man

never blamed
society's oppressive
tactics

A true warrior

Tonight
We meet
Father and Son

In my eyes
what a hero
you have
become

What a Christmas
Blessing
to have you here
