Amidst the Modern Maze
A Sonnet of Hope
In this modern age, where progress abounds,
A world of marvels, both wondrous and grand,
Yet shadows loom, with chaos all around,
And souls seek solace in this shifting sand.
Technology's advance has brought us near,
Connecting hearts, though oceans lie between,
But in its wake, a solitude we fear,
As screens replace the touch that once was seen.
Amidst the noise, our voices can be lost,
As greed and power vie for center stage,
But let us strive to count the greater cost,
And bridge the gaps that time cannot assuage.
For in this world, so fragile, yet so vast,
Together, we can shape a future that will last.
