An Angel Came To Moses

An angel came to Moses, to say he had a date;

That God needed now to talk with him, and please, not to be late!

So Moses came to God’s house, and the angels let him in;

And there He sat upon His golden throne, with a story to begin!

He told Moses to prepare himself, for some evil on the Earth;

A maelstrom was soon headed there, that would cause a Jewish dearth!

He said His spies down in “Hell’s Kitchen”, had overheard the Devil’s plan;

To make his monster, Adolf Hitler, a very infamous man!

They said Satan had been planning this, for half a thousand years;

To send evil men up to the Earth, and cripple it with fear!

God said that it was too late now, to prevent the Devil’s plot;

That he’d secretly amassed an army, that caught God off guard a lot!

And then He said these words to Moses, “Six million Jews we’ll lose”;

“But I’ll bring them right to Heaven, and their souls will be renewed”!

“Then I’ll send them right back down there, the “Children of Yisreal””;

“And they’ll slay the Devil’s army, and send their carcasses to Hell”!
