An Easter Joy"

Hey there Mr Bunny
where you hopping to
with ears a frenzied flapping
and a grin of mischief too?

I see you have a basket
filled with chocolate eggs on mass
What? You say you're hiding them
among the gardens and in the grass

They're wrapped in pretty colours
a visual Rainbow of delight
so that on Easter morning
among the greenery an easy sight

Small children will a wonder
at eggs left by a rabbit
filled with sweets and made of chocolate 
is this a normal habit?

Oh so you're the 'Easter Bunny'
with eggs a symbol of Life anew
then to know the Easter story
an amazing belief for me and you

So when you see a big bunny
don't ask him what he's doing
just look for the chocolate eggs
and enjoy the promise of Life renewing
