An Indian Summer 🌞

An Indian Summer 🌞

When this month of August fades away

And there is only one more day

Mother nature’s colourful reason

To welcome her Autumnal season..

I am hoping for an Indian Summer in the coming month of September

Wouldn’t that be so lovely to bask in  sunshine

T’would give us something delightful to remember..

Though seasons come as cycles go

What weather we get is impossible to know

Rain may fall and winds shall blow

And come the Winter, we might have snow..

But there is nothing as nicer than that old currant bun, that shines down on us all

So with this thought in mind, heres hoping for an Indian Summer to help us through the fall…

Awww really enjoyed this one Jill, to be honest, I prefer summer... Lucky I`m in the Southern hemisphere! Above all else, I enjoyed the sense of strength in this one. Through thick and thin am I right? I hope you are safe and well my friend.
