When all of my pens runs out of blue ink

Shall my baffled brain memorise what my mind will think?

From each and every moment that is made in a blink

You see I rely on pen and paper to pen my poetry in rhyme

After I have tapped out my thoughts onto my phone, using my moving finger and mime

There could well be  cause for concern, coz I am almost past my prime

And swiftly stepping up that ladder of life, on an unenthusiastic climb…
