And She Shows Up...

Butterfly's, Butterflys...  I cannot look away from your ocean blues.  Why do you show up to me knowing I cannot look away from you?  What's worse is that they're playing our song on the Cure's knife edge.  It's the song that makes it feel like snow, even if it's just outside Vegas in July.  I have to say I won't be able to pull away if you do that thing again I cannot say.  You're the lizard tongue that doesn't retract but stays a while to fit your style old love.  Down my hallway you took advantage of me, ripping out my red carpeted way for you.  There you stand with that awful beautiful gaze, knowing my soul doesn't stand a chance again.  Please just minimize your time on me and your angel hair presence.  I will be in the backyard hiding, or dying to get another chance.

Wow Richard Estey!!.......don't think I've read you before (my loss)............this is some very vividly delivered prose.  The choices in phrasing brought out the Love's struggle beautifully..........and some very interesting word choices to add to it's eloquence............lovely write my friend...............all stars        fav...........well done............T xo
