Poem -

And She Was Gone

Running from her past

Never certain about her future

She questioned her presence why was she here?

If  only the answers were so clear

What was her true calling her niche in life?

She struggled in the world she lived

She was uncertain so in doubt

What was one thing people cannot live this world without?

Was it Love, hate, petty need, or selfish greed of materialistic things?

She only knew what the present would bring

Selfish need is the epitome of the human mind

Violence, bullying for people to feel superior

Never knowing how it affects one’s interior

Breaking one’s spirit, words cut like knives

Making oneself the center of despise

It will be the world’s undoing in everyone’s mind

Selfish ways only thinking of themselves

The world is cold, cruel and so unkind

What is one person to this world without?

She had everything anyone could want

As she turned around and walked away

To help a person in need somewhere, some way

She only had time for one last goodbye

Before she left she softly spoke

I will help others with their struggles and strife’s

In hopes of making a difference in her new life

And she was gone like tide going out to sea

She didn’t know where she would end up or be

She knew she could make a difference so she set out

Disappearing with the shadows of the setting sun

To help others find their destiny

And she was gone

Hey Natalie,

Gone but not to be forgotten, a new land, a new world, a new life, accepted by all wakes of her new existence  a somebody to everybody she meets on her new frontier.Someone else s lost is anothers gain...... Treated as trash in the old but to the new she was a treasure waiting to be discovered and explored...Very pretty poem in deed by the poet, never to be seen again by the old...Water not missed, until the well will have ran dry......

Kindest regards,

Jim
