Poem -

And So I Walk

Pedaled start through the meadow’s melodies with a glancing fog that limits what the eyes can see. A foundational breed spreads through the senses like a candlelight peaking through a wall of darkness as uncertainty brings pause through the impatience of pondering observations that linger into a finite infinity. The fiery arrow pierces through my night sky as I hear myself interpret my thoughts with the words:

Just breathe this air full of passion

Cause it’s gonna change as the tides turn

Gravity can keep my feet on the ground

But it cannot guide my steps

The continuous loop of life’s accommodations overlooked as unintentional circumstances that proceed throughout our existence as just memorized memories of lasting chances put forth, but left behind. The essence is lost by influence of intolerance. And I grieve the day I see myself seizing the opportunity of sanctification of peace due to my irrationalized approach to that which is already solidified. The cold breeze hardens my bones as I stand paused by the still reality and hear the words:

Just breathe this air full of passion

Cause it’s gonna change as the tides turn

Gravity can keep my feet on the ground

But it cannot guide my steps

The texture of the thick air between my fingers makes it feel like I’m painting my own scenery. Creative perspective birthed from my eye’s observation searching far into the mountain’s pass as I form my identity through the clear beauty. A longing tribute through the forming ages gives lessons to grieve and to leave, but always to gain and life finds its ways through the path you create. The green reflection of the distant view captures my heart as I hear the words:

Just breathe this air full of passion

Cause it’s gonna change as the tides turn

Gravity can keep my feet on the ground

But it cannot guide my steps

So time saves the date and remains uncontained, but I capture the moment with my desire to sustain. If I prepare my today to prepare for tomorrow, I forget the now which was created from the seed of yesterday. I plant my life into the soil of enrichment to grow in fullness untouched by the intolerance. And as the tears form from the broken pieces of the truth, life’s puzzle is formed as I hear the words:

Just breathe this air full of passion

Cause it’s gonna change as the tides turn

Gravity can keep my feet on the ground

But it cannot guide my steps

            And so I walk.
