Death and Taxes

What next now
I thought shit happens in threes
I can't keep track of these catastrophes
Anxieties so outta control
Can hardly breathe
Are we still free
Practically confined to homes we can hardly leaveĀ
paranoid of the population
When I see somebody sneeze
I bless me
it's either what it is or something else
Fuck it
cheers
pound beers
here's to your health
Most everyone says the worst is yet to come
Stock up on ventilators toilet paper
and bullets for your guns
impressiveĀ  our ignorance is thinking shit like this was an impossibility
on the contrary
There's a little more evidence identifying the extent of our irrelevance
Yep we're dumb
time to run or hide or follow a cult of clueless fanatics to righteous suicide
the blind leading the brain dead
Helpless hordes of humanity will be like chickens with no headsĀ
running down roads that are really dead ends
It still dependsĀ
If you wanna survive or end up like your dead friendsĀ
Look at who you look to when making major decisionsĀ
a monopolized media conglomerate
spinning deceitful depressing webs of commercialized lies strategically angled by a couple of corporate guys overlooking oncoming Armageddon
still only concerned with a stock markets fall and riseĀ
imaginary images depicted by dollar signs signal our demise stubborn simpletons shaking from a few ripples in a foundation once concrete and over time became obsolete the only absolute is change
I have a direct relation to procrastination practically a pro when it comes to last minute waitin
I refuse to simply stand still when mother nature no longer preaches peace and releases retaliationĀ
doesn't really require an in depth examination at earth's understandable level of irritationĀ
Her infatuation at inflicting our species extermination is reasonable
so dominate
wasn't nothing we couldn't kill
pride filled pilgrims consumed with pushing past warning signs reaching new lows at astounding speeds I guess it takes clashes of the classes to remember every creature similarly bleeds
from day one there was a better choice
but our predetermined destiny was to breed disease
comedy or tragedy
look what's wiping us out
expertly executed extinction
what a disgrace that an invisible opponent erased our race
Ā
