And then the night calls by Jude Kyrie

The moon a lonely beacon
in the vastness of the night.
its broken crystal glass of light
dances on the unending
ocean waves.
like shards of memories
from a life half traveled.

The beams pierceĀ 
the Stonehenge mystery.
illuminating its ancient gray stones.
shadows of cracks in their surface
still hold whispers of Druids chants.
a darkened breeze blows softly
the incantations of forever.

the night sky pierced by a trillion stars
holds secrets in the darkest of dark.
and the starlight ignites my tears.

a lone gray owl hoots in the darkness.
and then the night calls
