Poem -

and what will you do now?

and what will you do now
a stranger on familiar chairs

oceans of table   tin eyes awash
wood grains in the ocean
Who knew

Cups sloshing tea coffee
would you like peas?
Tune out  tune in  no, no peas
whoosh whoosh babble babble

mr newton price of coffee
junior Jim a bowl of toffee  Swoosh

familiar faces mist rising dogs barking
cats barking mist rising kids larking

tune out  tune out  tune out

tune in

you need
to begin

somewhere not here.

With so much going on all around it ain’t easy picking out and pointing the finger at any single individual thing or person and am inclined to reluctantly accept the price of peace ..Neville 😎💛👍xx
