Salt and Shake

Do you remember the RugRats

She says     how the kids

would sit quietly

engrossed     eating crisps

shaking those little

packets of salt

We sit in silence

sipping coffee in her once

boisterous home

I take note

the Simpsons muted

on TV

That I might

keep up with her

20 years from now

Hello M...

Yup...

After people have already been referring to their own children as Rug Rats, Carpet Commandos, Curtain Climbers, then they get get snuggled like a Bug in a Rug at bedtime...

If you can't keep they come back eventually...

Some call it Luck now...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...
