Angel Gone Home

God placed and angel right by his throne

For what you went through, it was worth you going to your heavenly home

I know you are in heaven smiling from up above

For God sent you in my dream to show your love

You smiled at me and asked "If I was okay"

I said "Yes" and that's when you went away

I can't think about the pain you went through

Only the smile on your face when God called for you

I will never forget how you made us laugh

And all of your knowledge you were willing to share

God took a noble one and opened his gates

And for that I will never hate
