Angel of Mine
 
Of peace and love you were born
An angel in the eye of the storm
 
An angel with a heart of gold
With forever a blessed soul
 
Drowning you reached out and rescued me
You gave my heart the faith to believe
 
You are the shining stars and the sun
Upon your golden wings you are one
 
I pray blessed heavenly angel of mine
Shelter me from a world so cold and unkind
 
You are an angel in the light of dawn
You give me the strength to carry on
 
You may sing your sweet song of sorrow
But hope’s on the winds of tomorrow
 
You are a bearer of the holy light
You are my angel both day and night
 
You represent peace and love for all
Hope you will catch me before I fall
 
In a downpour of streaming tears
I let go of all of those lost years
 
Now and always my inner light will shine
I give my heart to that angel of mine
 
You helped me make the most of every new day
Beneath your golden wing is where I want to stay
 
Sweet angel of the ever merciful light
We can just share our dreams tonight
 
You are a golden star shining high above
