Heavenly angel of peace and of light
Make my dreams come true tonight
Â
With your outstretched wings spread wide
I am so peaceful when I am by your side
Â
Your love is a rive ever flowing to the sea
Couldn’t be happier when you are with me
Â
You help me to keep my  malicious demons at bay
I know tomorrow will be even better than today
Â
In a world ravaged by war and disease
I just look into your eyes and I find peace
Â
I think I could die while in your embrace
But all of my walls have fallen in place
Â
You were born of peace and of love
You came to me from the heaven’s above
Â
I love you more with each new sunrise
I can see the love reflected in your eyes
Â
On your feathered wings we shall fly
We will build our mansions in the sky
Â
From the moment you shone your light on me
You broke these shackles and set me free
Â
My loving angel of peace and of glory
There is no end to peace filled story
Â
I just hope that your love chooses to stay
But in my heart your fire will never go away
Â
You took me on the path of freedom of the heart
We would be so much better together than apart
Â

Beautifully written angel
Your poetry would bring a blush to an angels face and butterflies to its stomach. I do ponder about angels and God, I sometimes think that God allows the darkness to roam this earth, for with every demon we feel, we begin to pray for an angel, this action alone strengthens our faith, whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Just my belief, needless to say I don't want to believe in it truly for what God would want us to suffer, I am conflicted with this subject and I'm rambling on, must go to sleep now, take it easy, goodnight.
