Angel of Spring

Lightly she skips across the clouds
Showering feathers to the ground
She gives a peep and a cheery smile
To all the people passing by
Such pleasure she brings to all around
Her laugh infectious when mischief's at hand
Giving such joy no one cares
When a little fun comes unaware
Sunbeams dance giving waves of light
Swooning the willow sighs
Though a little shy
The awakening of spring her voice so clear
The wonder of nature woodlands cheer
Warmed now winter's earth
Creating life and rebirth
Merrily she skips away
A few more feathers
Tumble lovingly to pathe the way
Welcoming spring's
Charming grace

Hi Tina
Thanks so much for the lovely comment
were you commenting on the poem being
bouncy or my singing also? It is a little
light hearted but love this song and it
suited the poem.
Hello Anne...
This gift you give this wonderful talent you share...
I feel like I should be looking for the place to buy tickets and blessed enough in a full house to have a balcony seat...
Beautiful everything!
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...

What a great compliment - you listened to my singing
No balcony never had the nerve but sing now with my
other elderly friends once a week.
I am now old and brave - that's a laugh but so love to
sing.
This site is a delight - hugs from England
