Angel of the Dawn
 
Show me your light angel of the dawn
Give me the almighty strength to carry on
 
Turn my skies to blue from endless black
Spare me from another demon’s attack
 
Angel shine your holy light on me
Take me to the path where I can run free
 
Let me forever walk in God’s name
Free me from my rivers of shame
 
Mighty rivers forever running to the sea
Lift me up let me be all that I can be
 
Allow me to bathe in your holy light
Bring slumber to my many sleepless nights
 
Carefree let me walk upon the shores of sand
And journey throughout the spiritual land
 
Angel can you bring my soul everlasting peace
And put all of my life’s tension finally at ease
 
Raise me up from the ashes of the burning fire
Show me all of the love my tender heart desires
 
Angel can you guide my sinking ship into shore
I promise I won’t spend my life asking more
 
Won’t you wrap your loving wings around me
For you are all my tired eyes want to see
 
Angel won’t you stay with me till the end of time
You gave me your heart and I give you mine
