The Angel`s Cross

The Angel`s Cross

Remember the games once we used to play
The things we always used to say
The sun has me drifting off to sleep
For a new night to haunt me deep.

Crystal stars torture my dreams
By the memories I once found sweet
For sleep is like a Gothic symphony
As the blood-thirst has grown inside me.

You fought me as I took your soul
No escape for you to go
Your eyes crossed around this night
Your smile used to bring me light

Priests chasing us into the dome
Chanting their sins through the walls
Scours the candle shines upon my eyes
As I fall into their ferocious hands.

Isolated air flowing over the crimson sea
Touching the cold and vast city of trees
One last bridge ahead of me
Once I woke up upon your knees.

The soundless sun, the king of all
Rose over the great star of old
Wind, cold, breezing through my hair
I was warm, my dear sweet fair.
