Anger

Anger

Heart is blackened,
Eye's turn red,
Blood starts boiling,
As rage sets in.

Chains start to rattle,
As locks begin to crack,
The beast is free,
That once was trapped.

Such a fool,
To break the gate,
Releasing darkness,
For one's own fate.

Flowing madness through the veins,
Hurtful words come unglued,
Better pray that's all to be,
As the demons come out to play.

A Lonely Journey

Great writing, Tara. It's such a great description of the emergence of anger to the surface.
Really enjoyed that...but glad I'm not on the receiving end...yet. LOL.

Nice write,

Matthew.

Thanks for the read Matthew, we all have anger that we try to keep from coming out but some tend to bring the darkness out completely.

A Lonely Journey

You're welcome, Tara, and so right. I tend not to get angry too often, but I do know some people who are completely opposite.
Great writing, it's sparking a conversation, which is good.

Nice meeting you,

Matthew.
