Poem -

Anger grabbed my tongue.

Ive known words to be sharp as swords, and battle with the heart my soul, and flesh

Though I've seen words blooming, growing love
Like roses, pearled
And fresh

Ive known the tears of my infliction, as anger grabbed my tongue
to talk

Though as there, I was but carried, by another
When I could not walk

A simple word, that means so much
May stop time, or alter Fate

we must remember to try our hardest, to speak from love and not of hate.

The world really needs more love and positivity. Hoping things will change just isn't enough anymore. We need to make movements, we need artists to create something that the world can't ignore. This poem is a step in the right direction and is very well written. I hope to see more from you. NU
