ANGRY MOTHER NATURE

Look up, can you see me?
No, well look some moreÂ
Listen to the storm rageÂ
Very soon I’ll be
knocking on your doorÂ
Board your windowsÂ
Lock your doors
Batten down the cellarÂ
Hammer and nails at the readyÂ
People bustled into cellars
Watch me form in all my splendorÂ
As i spiral to the groundÂ
Like a ninja using stealthÂ
I funnel to the ground Â
Whirling, twirling i pick things upÂ
Up they go and out the topÂ
To the ground they must then dropÂ
Houses, cars, boats and treesÂ
I even have people praying on their kneesÂ
I don’t mean to be this wayÂ
Im just created just for one day
I have so much anger as i twist ,turnÂ
And mangle, i don’t care who i trample
Houses ,shops left in piles of rubbleÂ
Emergency services arrive on the doubleÂ
Animals picked up and thrown like stuffed toysÂ
Devastation is my ployÂ
Trees uprooted fall to the groundÂ
I continue to move with a ghostly soundÂ
Pipes burst as walls fall and crumbleÂ
Human voices start to mumbleÂ
Why, oh why did this happen to usÂ
Did we anger god and hes punishing us?
No its just mother natureÂ
Angry at how we treat her.Â
