Poem -

Broken

Lost
Fearful, afraid
Trees sway, brace,
catching the breeze, owls
toot and hoot and swoop
Their whispers carry in the wind,
a demonic chorus that drowns my senses
The rain pours, darkness prevails, cold tips scales
Wet and alone, tears drip and set sail,
gail forced winds wield agonising pain, the ground wet, blood stainedĀ

Crying, calls for help, lost to the wind,
eerie whispers, feet covered in blisters, popped and soreĀ
swollen skin, ankle broken, bone exposed and raw
feeling faint, head dizzy, vomit lodged throat
swaying side to side, sinking boat
shirt tight, python wrapped skinĀ
pain unbearable, infected within
cold, alone, confused
ankle bruised
contusedĀ

Blood drips from salt encrusted rock

I saw your eyes fill up, as you began to cry...

Poem -

I hate their fucking eyes...

I hate their fucking eyes on me

A fork to a gun
A smile to a scowl
A whore to a nun
A bark to a growl
