ANIMAL AND BIRD PHRASES

This poem is going to be hard to rhyme
Phrases associated with animals and birds we use all the time
So for example a little bird told me 
That I am always busy as a bee

If I don't finish this poem I will have crocodile tears
I have been counting sheep for nearly twenty years 
With my hush puppies I don't make a sound 
Not a dicky bird as I walk on the ground 

I will put an end to this shaggy dog story 
Will I be top dog and receive praise and glory ?
