Another Christmas Away From Home
I can't believe I'm missing the sounds of the birds singing on christmas mornings
The tunes that naturally fills the air, giggles, laughters, fun and boy is there always a show
but I won't be there to see and feel the love and watch our christmas light glow.
I can't believe I'm missing the smell and taste of a good home made family christmas pie
The bonding that naturally brings healing and forgiveness and warms our hearts will hope
But I will miss on this again, feels it a sad slippery slope
I'm glad there have been many christmases we have spent together and hope to spend will a family of my own.
So many lovely memories of singing Carols and acting on shows, enjoying the good tidings of christmas and the hope of a good new year,all being merry.
But I guess I have to dwell with the memories for it's another christmas away from home.

Hi cleo. A sad write but I understand you completely. My dad was in the army and we didnt always make it home to my grandparents for Christmas every year. It is sad when you cannot see them around this time but at least you know God will be with you any time day or night . Well done all stars. Hrl

Hello Cleo, iam sorry you will not be with family for the holidays. I worked Christmas two years in a row and I finally said Ill never work Christmas again because I realized being with family is more important than making money, and that I can never get back those times I miss.
