Another Day Another Demon

How can humanity
actually, this entire planet be
Practicing cruelty so casually
souls with scabs and scars
Hearts cold and calloused 
approachable as a poisonous cactus
Requiring total rewiring
relying on some form of trash to distract us 
Overflowing fear and unpleasant feelings
Unable to deal with the demons
Disturbing time
Infecting subconscious minds
Repulsive impulses
Obvious signs
Self induced solitary confines
And self hatred combined
Are the evils that drives us further apart
Continuing the decay of our insides
people have limitless ability 
Infinite potential
Can produce predominantly positive vibes
killing their true selves and ideal lives
disheartening evidence shows we surrender so easily
when facing any degree if adversity
Inadvertently allowing evil the opportunity
