The Answer

If you're asking God for an answer

or you're wanting something so

remember an answer is an answer

even if the answer's no

He'll answer every question

if you need to know

he'll give you all you need

to get up and go

All you have to do

is trust him with all your might

and know, when you aren't,

that God is always right

You think you know just what you need

and that you know just what's best for you

so you come up with a solution

and think "That's what God should help me do."

But whether you do or not

God knows what's best for you

and even if you think so,

you really have no clue

So if you're asking God for an answer

if you're wanting something so

remember an answer's an answer
