The Answer

When he saw her for the first time
he had a hard time not noticing her pain.
And he wanted to ask her
just what had caused those scars on her otherwise flawless skin
But he wasn't sure he was ready to hear the answer.

The first time he heard her speak
he couldn't deny the overwhelming sadness in her voice.
And he wanted to ask her
just what had made her voice so hoarse
But he didn't want to know the answer.

When he first heard the news
he had a hard time not bursting into tears.
And he wanted to ask her
just what had caused her to do it
And he wished he could know the answer.

A well composed verse, suitable for an Album of Love, My applause, My congrats. I love the below lines

The first time he heard her speak
he couldn't deny the overwhelming sadness in her voice.
And he wanted to ask her
just what had made her voice so hoarse
But he didn't want to know the answer.

Regards
