ANTS

Infestation

ANTS

If thoughts were bugs, always crawling
I do imagine they’d be ants,
For where there is one there is many.
An infestation of ants scurrying around
A pest you can never truly be rid of
And if instead of feeding they take with them piece by piece the result of their scavenge I imagine it would be like an infection in the brain that spreads and can not be halted
Try as you might to stop their blight to remove them or perhaps to even kill them they will return always with a vengeance to finish what they started and so when the issue gets to much and you’ve tried all you can then where is it you turn to then, perhaps to drastic measures of which others might not agree but if it stops the problem in its tracks, if it stops the infestation then can it really be such a bad thing?
