ANXIETY AND MIRTH

It's a fact I'm in the city of my birth
Causes me anxiety but also mirth
Anxiety because nothing remains the same
Mirth because my city is now only a name

Twenty years I grew up in this city
Sure it had faults but some parts were pretty
Now there is nothing I can recount and recall
Everything gone including the town hall

What happened to this and where is that ?
Feel such an outsider and a complete prat
Can't wait to return back home once more
Won't be returning here again that's for sure
